If your eight (8) year certification as a SIT is set to expire soon, you can submit the Retain your SIT Certification Form, with the required payment. This form must be accompanied by certificates of completion for 32 hours of continuing educations units (CEU). After your application is processed by the Board, you will receive a new certificate showing the one year extension.
After the first renewal of the SIT certification, you can apply for another year of extension each time your certification is due to expire by submitting the same application and certificates of completion for eight (8) CEUs.
